@yenyang, I managed to reproduce the crash!
1. I have two nodes very close to each other in a perfectly working game where electricity flows without issues. They are on a four-lane road, allowing traffic in both directions. The nodes are so close that they were very likely created with Anarchy on.
2. When I upgrade the road with these two nodes to an asymmetric five-lane road, the electricity stops, and the game crashes when I open it. This is very common in roundabouts, for example.
3. Reversing to the standard four-lane road does not fix the electricity flow problem; removing the two-node piece of road and recreating it with Anarchy off with either four lanes or five lanes fixes the electricity flow, and hence, the game can be open again.
I hope that helps to fix the mod. I have the game files with the two nodes flowing and without flowing electricity (the one that crashes). Can I pass them on to you if you need to?
Thanks for the amazing mod; all the best!
All, try finding asymmetric roads where it is evident that electricity does not flow (you see the yellow cable under the road, but if you want to use it to transmit electricity, it does not work). Recreate these roads (do not just upgrade) until you see electricity flowing. Use Move it to select the road to find nodes that are close to each other; that is probably where the problem is. You can do that with Skyve safe mode to open the game.
Be careful when upgrading roads to asymmetric. Every time I do that, I check the electricity flowing immediately afterward; if it stops, then I know it will crash. All the best!
