We have a group on Cities Skylines Modding Discord that's trying to investigate the saving issue. We aren't sure what the cause is.

Hi, can anyone please explain what to do after tubing Skyve and see the Compatility report found error? I read some say delete the network within the game? But, if my city won’t load how could I?

You can try broken segment detector mod, but you'll need to read and follow the instructions. They're important.

Hi thanks. My problem is that even running the game in safe mode it won't load my city. So, my question is, how to use the mod if I can't load the city into the game. Thanks. By the way, where are those instructions?

The mod, Broken Segment Detector, had the instructions in the description for the mod on PDX. You can send me a Skyve log report if your if you want me to try to help when I have time. If you can’t load a save even in safe mode, then it would be very difficult to fix. But sometimes people think they’re in the safe mode but aren’t. Even loading an empty map in safe mode should have significantly lower fps than normal.

Great thanks! Here it's the report. Also, I noticed something very particular. In the section within Skyve called "Maps & Save games" I noticed that the city version I saved yesterday at around 1pm local time, the file size is only 1MB, and all the other versions that I've been saving in the past, are much bigger, 45MB+ do you have any idea how after the error I got, the file got much smaller, like everything got deleted? Thanks for all of your work by the way, I could not play without your mods.

hi I have been playing with this mod and when i try to save the game I get the following critical error. I have been reading in different forums and according to multiple people it seem that the problem is produced by this mod. If you have time I will appreciate if you can check it or if someone have the same error using this mod.

I am getting the same savegame error as others.
Many players are experiencing this issue with error message and corrupted savefiles. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether the base game or mods are causing the error.:(

I've been following this in the CSD Modding Discord and it looks like they found it was an Anarchy problem. Yenyang has made a fix and posted the beta in the discord for people to manually install locally and try, so far so good according to messages there. Trying out the beta myself later tonight.

The patch is live that fixes the serialization problem. Took a bunch of us at CIties Skylines Modding Discord to figure it out. Thanked a lot of people in the change log and added a long line to the credits in the description.

Of course, someone found a minor bug introduced in the patch, so I’ll get to that tomorrow.
 
Hey! I noticed that trees I placed with Tree Controller and Anarchy were resetted to their small versions. It seems like you can't place them on decals, roads, etc... Everything worked fine yesterday, so I think it came with the update.

Hello, I was trying to build a city recently when I discovered something peculiar. Namely, when I overlap the footprint of two or more buildings, the game crashes to desktop. Is this a problem on my side or a bug?

I don't know why that happened. I've tried to reproduce it with current version and the one from a few hours ago, but I was able to overlap buildings fine. If you keep running into the issue, you can try to replicate the issue using Skyve's "Safe Mode" and then send me a skyve log report.
