Playing France in IGC 2.0 and am having mcuh difficultly getting Brittany as an annexation. the readme syas:

- Bretagne is now (optional) in the game as a vassal of France with military alliance (intermarriages since 1491, annexed 1514). Annexation date ingame is mostly 1502.

I'm now 30+ years past this and have had no luck. Does this go according to Hoyle for others or am I just hitting a patch of bad luck?

Running a hands off game, last night, they were still independant as of 1605 - the only time I haven't seen them absorbed in 1502.

The IGC starts with their relations at 0. Seems odd, considering the royal marriage/vassalization/what have you occurred in 1491. Relations should be a little bit closer, no?

Watch it WhiteHojo. How do you think BiB got that high post count? He absorbs the essence of other forum members and gets their post count added into his. ;)

Hey, lets not get ridiculous. Let's get real.
The truth is he is a member of the New World Order and is watching the people who think for themselves for subversive activity. Why do you think he won't tell you what BiB stands for? :D
Oh, and how can I post this and not worry? Because I am actually a Grey alien from a UFO. He wouldn't dare. ;)

Hi....

I annexed Brittany in 1499. As soon as I got enough money during the reign of Louis XII to send them state gifts. It took me 2 state gifts and 1 personal gift to achieve this. Some may need more. ;)

Pay attention to your monarch's diplomatic skills. That usually has a direct effect on your gifts and vassalization/annexation offers. Also, make user Brittany is weak militarily. If needed, have them in your alliance and declare war on some nation. Brittany will send troops to help you. As soon as you see her weaken, raise your relations, and offer annexation.

Good luck!
