Computer is upgraded and running, and the internet connection hasn't failed me, so i'll be there.

Cyril, could we please set the starting time around 19.00 GMT so that our english friends can join?

Can you also upgrade the rooster so that we keep track of whom played what, and can get a clear view of player's dedication.

Seems like we are already short of one player, so I volunteer to handle Japan, although I would have liked not to be faced with an impossible mission again. :)

hi guys,

19.00 GMT it will be, assembling in HOI Channel. Password will be friday.

As for country setup: WW, Andrew and me will be there, though havent heard of the others yet. I would like to go through with the Friday Series, and perhaps it will take some sessions to get the right mix of people for the group, especially in terms of reliability.

Will check the board again prior to game, around 18.30. ICQ will be on prior to that.

C you guys this evening!

OK,

So far we have:
> Andrew - Germany
> WW - Japan / to be decided
> Porro - UK (unconfirmed)

Sorry if there are people I forgot. I been in a lot of games last week  .

Pretty sure we are going to need some subs, perhaps even some regulars.
Let me know if you guys got reliable players who could join on the fridays.

Seems HOI Channel is fucked, will be in Common Channel.

The game continued on Friday with some subs replacing no-shows like Porro. Canada made repeated landings in Europe but the Germans repeatedly annihilated their beachheads. More serious was that Romania joined the Allies and so had to be crushed. This delayed the start of Barbarossa to July 1940. The Germans pushed vigorously along a NE axis and were getting close to Leningrad and Moscow when bad weather came and reduced offensive possibilities.

Axis - hard shape of steel

What is this?! Germans allready outside russia capital one year ahead of their historical components in a timeline order.

And Candada togher with Rumania building up the only worth mention resistenst against fasicst in Europe?!

I only ask thoose Q because original Japn player is likly to be missing this friday cause of freeday event. And as an Axis Ally with lot of prospects, Japan should be an intersesting spot to fill

Dan will not be attending probably, as he is in the middle of moving appartments. There is a good chance Cit x will join. As with all games, it seems to take a few sessions to get a commited group together.

WE continued with Citizen X and Japan, Tomar as USA and Dredd as UK. There was much fierce fighting in the snows of Russia and a well concealed army in white snow camoflage won a decisive battle for the Su in the centre, while the Germans pressed ever closer to Leningrad.

The session was cut short when Citizen X had to go. With Germany struggling in Russia and Japan crippled by the loss of much of its fleet, I suppose that the game is an uphill struggle for the Axis now. And there has been a bit too much turnover in the players for the game to sensibly continue now.

Andrew

I'm affraid I have to agree with you. In 3 sessions, we have had 2 US, 3 UK, 4 Jap and several other players.
To bad, I enjoyed the fighting in Russia sofar.

Still, we have 3 regulars, and perhaps we will find some other regulars in the Monday or other series we started recently.
