Has anyone else had the following issue? I don’t know if it’s a bug or I didn’t read it properly
So I survived as the Antigonids (it’s actually really simple...if you attack macedon as soon as you get your claims but do it as ‘Claim on Achaea’, Egypt, the Seleucids and Thrace never attack you...) and worked down the tree.
Founding the League of Corinth (needs at least 3 vassals who have 3 cities each) - managed to do by vassalising the last 3 cities (Messenia, Stymphalia and Manitea) and selling them each 2 other tiles. I then did the ‘League of Corinth’ mission...which united them and gave the new Messenia/League of Corinth all my lands in Greece south of Boeitia.
However, it made them independent of me, not a vassal...so now I will have to go and conquer them again...which seems really dumb.
The mission costs 100 political power to do as well, and id conquered all the rest of the land, so I basically handed over all Greece and 100PP to a new nation...who I now have to go and kill as they aren’t my vassal and they view me as a threat so have -87 relations with them (as when they go independent you have claims to all their land that was yours 2s ago).
Is this how it’s meant to happen? It seems...stupid. I would’ve expected them to become a vassal, as they do on Macedon’s tree (and Rome’s I think?).
Also, enjoy playing as Antigonous and not getting killed if you hadn’t realised how!
