So after the news that imperator rome will be consigned to the scrap heap that is the home of "march of the eagles" I decided to give the game another chance. and wow The UI and mechanics where SUPER confusing, IS there a good new player guide/video series that is up to date with the latest patches?

Thanks. Although I wish youtubers would learn how to present better. Talking as fast as possible is not the best way for a learner to soak things up.
