Are there any mods which cover WW1, the various (a)historical peace outcomes, interwar period and realignment into Allies/Axis/Comintern for a WW2 game? If so, how are the different alliances formed in-game (Allies/Central in WW1 to Allies/Axis/Comintern in WW2)? I'd love to play a game from WW1 and steer it all the way through to WW2 and beyond, though in the basic game the WW1 scenario would end in 1942 at the latest, and I'm unsure whether the relevant events exist/would fire over this period or not.

The two main mods are:
  1. Peace Without Victory: Which has events and decisions for historical and ahistorical. It's an active mod @Ericafaq is always working to improve it. Plus he's very active on the forum. I'd suggest reading through the mod's thread before asking him any specific questions that he's already answered.
  2. The Grand Campaign: Which is no longer an active mod by its original and subsequent modders, although I've been testing new updates and improvements for the its Cold War Tech Tree and will upload a patch in the next month or so. It's more of a sandbox mod and doesn't have many new events from around the mid 20s to 1933. Once you hit 1933, then the All In One mod kicks in. It also includes the NWO mod for the Cold War period. Like I said, it's more of a sandbox, especially if WW1 goes ahistorical. Some wonky wars during the interwar period which I find fun.

Thanks very much! I'll download Peace Without Victory now and will await your patch update to The Grand Campaign before downloading that.

Well I'm not a modder and it's not much of a patch. Just correcting some mistakes in the tech tree. But the game is totally playable. Nevertheless, PWV is way more polished and a very fun mod with 1000s of new events
