Coming back to IR thanks to what I read about the Invictus mod and enjoying it, so thanks to that team and the community here for keeping IR alive!

I am trying to figure out if there is. Away I can see what holdings already belong to what characters - is there anything? While trying to manage power base and loyalty, especially in the early game, I‘d like to make informed decisions about what holdings to revoke and possibly replace with lower pop holdings, for example. The ‘Holdings’ map mode doesn’t do anything other than show where holdings are - basically useless IMO, unless I am missing something?

Reactions:
Doesn't that map mode color code the holdings? All holdings go to the family head (this was a change in one of the later updates) and the color is their family color.

Thanks for the quick reply - that could very well be it. Since the map mode shows holdings all over the map but provides no special tool tip information (like some of teh others do) I assumed the colors related to the province or something and didn’t think it corresponded to the family color…

In the early game holdings may be an issue but later on they are not. Power base is basically function of family prestige and it comes from jobs. If you want to reduce family prestige do not give jobs to major families so they power base remain small through the game.
