I've just bought my very own Steam Controller and I'm curious if anyone is playing (and enjoying playing) PDX titles with it? Of course I know that it won't be better than mouse and keyboard.

I'm not even sure why you would.

So that I can play relaxed on my couch. Actually I already got my controller and its so customizable that I can imagine learning to play on it normally. Its not easy right now and it will never replace mouse and keyboard but it can be used in casual game.

Problem solved ;)

Let us know how it goes. I might buy one for the same purpose.

Well I have my controller 4 days right now and I can't say that I don't enjoy using it (playing RPG's - even isometric - is sooo great). As for EU4 - it certainly has the possibility to replace mouse and keyboard. Other controllers are not suited for PC and Steam Controller is designed to be used only with PC. It can simulate mouse and keyboard to a great extent, but... Yes there is a big but....
I wonder how many hours you spent on playing PDX titles with mouse and keyboard? I count my playing time in thousands of hours. And it is impossible for me right now to get the same master level of clicking buttons without thinking about it. While I can play EU4 on speed 5 without pausing, looking at keyboard and waging war at the same time - I cannot go beyond speed 3 on controller because I get lost.
But I did a quick colonization campaign with controller, without going to wars, etc. and it was quite fun. It feels so much better sitting comfortably on couch or armchair, holding controller instead of having to sit on office chair and slouching.
So - if you would like my advice on that matter - if you play other games, like Fallout, Skyrim, Divinity: OS (that's what I play, but any other controller-friendly game would do), etc. - do buy Steam Controller. It has just so much potential. But if you would only use it with PDX games then it would be a waste of money, IMO.
