Does Mex's map actually work on AOD and is it out? Also does it include modifications per the Vietnam and Afghan Wars mod?

I've had problems with map creation on AOD. The same maps that work fine with HOI2 don't work in AOD. It seems that in AOD most of the unused provinces have a bug in them that causes the icons to not get displayed.

Mex creates the map just for AoD, it's not a converted HoI2 map. It's not out yet, I expect a beta version this summer.

A further update on mapmaking. I tried to mod a single province again and was successful. The problem, I believe, was a Windows Vista/ Windows 7 bug. The naval distribution table was created for some reason in the Compatibility Files section. When it is moved to the map folder where it should be, things work OK. Anyway I'll await Mexbuild's map and hope for the best. I hope he pays some attention to the Cold War hotspots.

btw i hope you'll adjust this one if Mexbuild releases his map. i dont need it right now as poland wont have a port, but if there's a way to have Danzig as a state and a polish harbour as well this would be really good.

just another comment (dont take it as an offense, i know you have a lot of different projects going on, just trying to help):

balck was major in 36 ( http://www.geocities.com/~orion47/WEHRMACHT/HEER/General/BALCK_HERMANN.html ) so i dont think he should be a TT for danzig. same goes for him as a leader maybe. Gauleiter Arthur Greiser as an airforce leader has an offensive trait.
