Well i look forward to that christmas update, maybe in the future a split off the mod might also be an good idea , one 1914 and one ww2 DH map mod. That would make it possible to have ww1 tech treas.

Today I released Version 1.3 that is available here http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-Hour-Map)&p=12801991&viewfull=1#post12801991

- Fixed reported/known bugs
- Implemented new tech layouts
- Some minor balancing changes
- Scenario 1936 Road to War: Strengthened Germany somewhat to improve performance when ai is playing Germany
- Fixed some sprites
- To avoid gfx problems, the adjacent.tbl from DH also has to be copied

How do I change the resolution? It's too small.

For resolution changes load the game with Arsenal.exe, there you have these options.

About the special german characers, I guess it's the german "Umlaute" which do not exist in english.
To be honest I didn't thought about that when naming some units, but only a few should be affected.
Write me a PM if you want a quick-fix.

Thank you, but the unitnames.csv should be alright as it is. Anyway wouldn't it be easier for you to use
english in the language settings - which is also available when launching Arsenal.exe?

Made some progress in Map-Editing. Here is the result for Scandinavia.

Instructions are in the first post. Here's a modified copy paste with some extra explanations that I also missed first time:

1. Unpack the files with 7zip. This creates the "Arsenal of Democracy 1.07 - DEC MOD" folder mentioned in the next step
2. Copy from the AoD version 1.07: ONLY your "AODGame.exe" Version 1.07 into the "Arsenal of Democracy 1.07 - DEC MOD" folder.
3. Copy from the DARKEST HOUR: the 4 Lightmaps and the adjacent.tbl from the "\map\Map_1" folder into the "\Arsenal of Democracy 1.07 - DEC MOD\map" folder.
4. Have fun!

Currently I'm working on a new water layer for the map. This is the example for the Mediterranean Sea. What do you think, is it worth/good enough to implement?

Thank you Julle64, I edited the install instructions in the first post - hopefully it's becoming more clear and installing is easier now. :)

Rapidshare seems not to be working.

Any other options on where to download the mod from?

At the moment there is no mirror but rapidshare should be working, tested it right now.

I tried it again. It is now downloading at 153 kb/sec. I have Zoomtown turbo and it averages 26 mb/sec. It is fast enough to watch Netflix streaming 2 different HD movies on 2 different computers at the same time with no pauses.

To call that system "Rapidshare" is a goddamn lie!

It always quit long before it got to 1% downloaded in the past. It is now up to 3% after ~10 minutes. WTF! I guess it is "working".

Update -- it quit again at 27,810 downloaded out of 330 mb.

I quit!
