I think moving the Duchy of Aragon to the De Jure Kingdom of Navarra in the 867 bookmark (instead of being De Jure Kingdom of Valencia) could help them survive the Umayyads easier, and makes sense, since the Ebro valley was a disputed area between the kings of Pamplona/Navarra and the muslim Banu Qasi. This also allows Navarra to expand easier to this area, and to prevent the Umayyads or the local Emirs to declare easy De Jure claim wars if they eventually form the Kingdom of Valencia.

Of course, this is only for the 867 bookmark, as the 1066 one is fine as it is, since the Kingdom of Aragon already exists in 1066.
