The living beings on Mars, have to live inside a dome, and why Arcology is reduced to a single structure of residence?

I hope Surviving Mars rethink its own arcology and decides to make it an equal for the domes. Let's make that hypothetical Arcology has slots, and within those slots then you designate residence, farm, services, and maybe storages.

I hope that Arcology will be expandable through upgrades, making it more flexible than domes.

It's just baffling for me that Arcology, the staple of sci-fi's concept of self-sufficient mega structure of civilization, be reduced to just a structure of residence.

I think we need greater expansion of Arcology concept in Surviving Mars. Imagine Domes and Arcologies stand next to each other. That would be a grand view.

I have a felling that that could be DLC content
