Are planetary breakthroughs gone?

Have planetary breakthrough anomalies been removed intentionally in latest patches?
I'm at sol 120 and haven't had a single one yet - plenty of research and resource anomalies, but no breakthroughs

Only breakthroughs I've unlocked so far, has been those from the surface.
Is this intentional? Others experiencing this?

Nevermind, seems they have been moved underground - like the implementation, underground now has a lot more incentive!

Me too. You can choose the underground breakthroughs instead of them being random, and some are really strong when used right. I have been pleasantly surprised when actually taking the time to explore every corner of the caves.
