⚠️ Are scientists not getting xp for analysing special projects?

Not sure if a bug but my scientist worked almost 10 years (I think it was cracking the egg special project) but he got seemingly no xp during this time.

3.9.3 (Xbox Release)

3. What DLC do you have installed?
All of them, including C6 portrait

4. When did this start happening?
Immediately

5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how
Always so far

6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
All saves so far.

7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?

did the leader get XP at the end?

I'm not 100% sure but it didn't look like it. If he got xp it was a few pixels on the bar after almost 10 years researching a project.
