Given that for a couple of months people post various different workarounds to counter the fact that after certain patches the game seems not to cope with certain antivirus software anymore,

I'd like to know whether there are plans for a fix in a future patch so that the player can start the game right from steam without further ado?

Or will there be no other way of playing the game than having to go through the seemingly lengthy and fiddly procedure first?

Thanks for responding

I guess I'm not seeing this issue the same way you are. Yes, after game updates various AV apps tend to block the new executable - this is how they work in fact, an altered .exe looks suspicious of course.

The only workaround/fix that should be necessary is to allow the game through the AV app concerned, however that is done in each case.

None of that is anything this game's developers can do anything about.

If I'm missing something about the lengthy and fiddly procedure you are referring to I apologise!
