I have a solution (I think)! My propose is form a “players’ group”.
Advantages:
1) you have a partner, or more;
2) don’t need to wait;
Probably there are more advantages…

I would suggest that you would check out the games that are currently running and ask to join in. It would be easiest that way.

Perhaps it's time for the old Newbie game to be relaunched. I've seen several new members trying to join our fine EU 2 MP forum lately.

Who hosted that last one? Since i only have a 256 upload i can't host (yet, since i'll get a 4/4mb connection soon for 2/3 of my current price).
