Area x constant crashing

I have tried to complete area x mission around 14 times now and it either crashes during the mission or worst of all it crashes when you try to exit after completing the mission. During the last part of the mission while fighting the ambush it lags every 2 - 5 seconds for around 1-10 seconds it's like 3 fps. At the moment I can't bring myself to do this mission again until I know it will actually complete.

I am terribly sorry to hear you've been affected badly by this. What platform are you playing on?
