Arma 1.3 patch problem

Hi, I have a problem in that I have installed Arma onto my new computer, patched to 1.2 and then tried to patch to 1.3 (check sum PHVR) but I keep getting the error message 'install latest milestone'.

I have tried the patch from these Forums several times, ones from elswhere and also my old saved patch which worked fine on my old desktop. I have the same error message with all of them.

Any help would be appreciated please.

Sorry for the late answer.

You have done something wrong under installation. You have either installed arma without installing DD, or you have installed the patch in wrong folder. My suggestion is to uninstall, see sticky how to do it.

Install the game outside the programfiles, like : c:\games\paradox\arma

Install DD -> install arma in the same folder-> install the latest patch. It should now work

Thanks for the advice.

I went for a totally clean install again making sure everything is in the right folder but it still said 'Install latest milestone', so I fired the game up anyway and it now says V1.3 PHVR, so far every thing seems to be working ok no ghost fleets in my allied ports etc.
