armageddon crash

HOI DD Armageddon crashes during play. No warning, just black screen and windows error reporting window pops up.

This only happens with armageddon patch. HOI 2 and HOI doomsday don't cause the problem.

I have Windows XP.
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

When I check the details on the windows error report, the fault is either with hoi2.exe or occasionally cinemasteraudio.dll.

If more details are needed I can try to get them.

I too have been crashing a lot lately. I get a black screen with the hoi2.exe fault and when I click on the link to view details I see something like this:



This happens at least once a month during game play so I have to keep saving a lot. These crashes seem to be random.

Add me to the list. I have an 8800 as well on XP. Exact same thing as above described. It is getting annoying and it seems to happen more often well into the game than early on. I am in 1954 or so on the arma GC.

One more thing. I have tried to use the high resolution fix but I am not actually using it anymore as I could not get it to work. I got high resolution, but it was a tiny windo in the middle of my LCD. Not sure weather that has changed anything at all. I am lazy to reinstall at this point.
