I'm sure paradox will have a patch out for this today.

But so far -

* PRRS has no tech teams in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* Australiasia has no description in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* The nation of Tannu Tuva exists in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios
* The balance is a little off in Armageddon/Abyss Scenerios, Australasia has only 25 manpower in the Armageddon Scen. I think that some of the resource income values for some of the nations may be buggered up?
* As Empire of Russia, your fleet starts in Leningrad, which is owned by sweden (who your at war with in Armageddon and not allied with in Abyss).

So far, thats all I've found.

But, despite that, I'm REALLY looking forward to hooking into some game time!!!

The model 1 (late) Capital Torpedoes only has a build time of 19 when the rest of the model 1 naval attachments have a build time the same as the model 0.

It'd be nice if the original poster updated the list on the first post to reflect the additional bugs discovered, if only to let the Paradox devs know what they've to fix in the next patch.

I believe that the problem with the missing PRRS (Japan) tech teams is the tech team file for the Democratic Republic of Persia (teams_upe.csv). The ID numbers of the tech teams are identical. I borrowed the numbering convention used by Paradox and coverted the team ID's from 19xx to 61xx in the teams_upe.csv file.

I used the same numbering scheme that Paradox introduced and don't know if I'm causing another conflict yet or not. The original Japan Tech Team file used ID numbers of 1900, 1901, 1902, but the PRRS team file used number of 1985, 1986, 1987, etc. The Persia tech team file used 6100, 6101, etc, so I altered the new new Democratic Republic of Persia to be 6185, 6186, etc.

For those of you who want to play Indochina in the new scenarios, here is the default Indochina tech team file altered for Armageddon and Abyss until Paradox releases their patch with the proper tech team file. It'll do in a pinch. ;)

As I said previously, these have not been extensively tested yet, so I may be creating problems elsewhere. Test them cautiously!

I'm not sure if this is Armageddon specific or was introduced in DD 1.3a, but I'm playing a game as Italy and every time I sea transport a corps over to Libya the game shifts my supply depot to the province that I deliver my troops to and thus puts my entire force out of supply for a day! The depot soon shifts back to Tripoli where it usually is but this lack of supply every time I drop off a corps is driving up my dissent and is a real pain in the butt.

An unintended side effect of some other change? Either way it's something that really should looked at and fixed in the next patch.

Cheers!

The "only the first naval attachment working" bug confirmed. I think it has to do with the persistent ship upgrading bug. After the ships are "upgraded" or whatever, only the effect first attachment remains, the rest disappears.

Well, that explains why my destroyers still have 29 maximum firing distance. :p

I found this problem exists after loading a save file as well. Seems to be a common error in that new features don't make it into the save file. For example, it's irritating that any spies that you have "sleeping" in a foreign country don't remain sleeping after saving and reloading. In multiplayer, it makes it very easy for a country to clean out all enemy spies by just doing a counter espionage mission immediately after a reload or at the start of a new session.

Moddir is broken since DD v1.0, I still didn't figure out how to use it right.
That was one thing I hoped Armageddon would fix.

By the way, has work been done on the editor? Still bugged?
Testing we've done with CORE in DD 1.3a has shown very positive results in mod-dir, actually, allowing us to move virtually all files to mod-dir. All we seem to need are dummy files for pictures in the vanilla folders. Ministers, leaders and tech teams are read correctly from mod-dir.

But if that changes significantly with Armageddon... too bad. Hope they aim to fix it - and let us know about it. Mod-dir is a very big thing for CORE.

I thought the bugs were mostly relegated to the fantasy scenarios, but the movement orders, ship attatchment, and mod-dir bugs sound pretty serious. Please Paradox, get this thing working ASAP after we all payed for it. Hell, go pull the plugs on the PCs of the guys diddling away on EU3 patches and tell them you need the extra help. :)

Yes, they'll work for a patch as efficient as the did for DD 1.3 (a). And because of this, a patch for Armageddon (e.g. even make that scenario playable) is likly to cost 5€.

Seriously though, patch it!

Wow. One of the major additions to the game is flawed right from the start. This isn't funny anymore. I am a software engineer myself, and I know testing is a pain in the ass, but this is

Oh well, back to playing the public beta :D

Since the rest of the nations all have 15 tech teams I would suggest borrowing some of the missing ones from Burma, Siam, Malaysia and/or Indonesia (or any other countries that comprise the new Indochina).

You might also want to bump some of the skill levels up to match the other countries.

The sad thing is that it's the truth. :(

The Australasian flag is flawed (a white line shows up on the left side of the flag in one or two frames of the animation). I'm repeating this because I can't fix it without the original flag PI used, and I don't know if it's visible enough on the list I quoted a couple of pages ago.

This is what I came up with...I had to modify the University of Indonesia and the National University of Laos to create teams for Rocketry and Nuclear Techs. I based the skill levels (and general fields) on the European Soviets.

That's bullshit if I may say so. Moderation on this forum has always been friendly - it did happen that some threads on bugs were removed, which seemed to have caused all this, but when the first such thread had appeared it had been stated that we should stick to this one and that new ones'll be removed.

As for all flaws with DD:A - sadly PI games have always been like this with their 1.0. Also almost no other company supports their games for so long, so in the long run we're better off.
