Since it's still in beta, here's a few last suggestions:

The option to construct a Nicaraguan canal, and the ability of some nations to invest in it, by sending a certain percent of metal, supplies, and money each day. The game would keep track of who invested how much, and how much stake they have in it. That's pretty much all I come up for this.
