Summary
Army pathfinding/placement and supply lines still go catastrophically wrong, especially in GermanyDescription
Playing the Germany Leandership war is still pure cancer, especially as Austria (or non-Prussian countries). There are two causes, outside the nightmarish experience of early-game skirmish infamy wars:1. The supply system cannot seem to handle armies standing in landlocked allied countries. Invading, say, Anatolia from Russia or Egypt works fine, but armies in Bavaria or Wattenberg will sometimes decide to drop to 0% supply as soon as they toe across the border and their organization will crater
1b: This is made significantly worse by the fact that you cannot control where your armies stand - sometimes they decide they simply *MUST* stand inside Saxony or whatever and loose all their supply. This is made worse by the whimsical tyranny of the combat width and terrain system, but unfortunately that part seems to be working as intended.
2: Pathfinding is screwy. Currently, by armies have decided the only way to get from Franconia to a frontline between Prussia and Russia is to walk all the way up past East Prussia, across the Baltic Sea and through the Danish Straights, and them down to walk across Northwest Germany, leaving the frontline undefended and probably loosing all their supply on the way.
Steps to reproduce
1. Click on Austria2. Wait for Prussia to break the Treaty and jump in in the first half of the 1840s
3. Consume the strongest analgesics legal in your jurisdiction
4. Play the war normally, trying to fight inside central Germany and wait for something stupid to happen
