What exactly is this thing supposed to do? I'm Underground, spend a buck load of resources on it. I then removed the drone hub extenders I had built, but all of the sudden it show some buildings not in range anymore?!? I thought the Artifact Interface would work as a Drone Hub for the entire underground region? Am I doing something wrong?

Well I’m done with the new DLC…was really hyped for some new stuff…but between them breaking what was working perfectly fine, the new stuff is actually so lack luster and not fun to play, that I wish they would have just left the game alone. Asteroids are fun, don’t get me wrong. I think they should come much earlier so they could be a viable income source. As it stands right now you simply do the asteroids to get the new resource with you almost exclusively only need below ground. And don't get me started with this one. The elevator is so micro managing heavy it takes out all the fun. And while we managed to use tunnels to get power, water and oxygen across the entire map, suddenly this doesn't work underground.
