As I Lay Dying Event - Culture Language Incorrect

Description​

My character is getting on in age and got the "As I Lay Dying" event, where he chooses how his epitaph will be written. The first option is to write it in Latin, which makes sense for a Catholic character. The second and third options are for Castilian, "the language we all speak". The problem there is that my character is Dutch, and speaks Dutch, not Castilian. Also, the three vassals that all receive the opinion bonus for choosing the option are also Dutch.

It might be that Castilian came up because my character does know Basque, but that's a stretch because if that were the case, why does it say Castilian instead of Basque? Basque is its own language, and its own culture, where Castilian is not a language in the game. But in any case, none of the three vassals that gain opinion can speak any Iberian language, so I believe this is not functioning as intended.

Steps to reproduce​

Get the "As I Lay Dying Event". I do not know the criteria for the event, or the choosing of the language. My starting character was a custom character, I don't know if that is relevant.
