Hi everyone.

As a longtime naval-sim enthusiast I was very happy to hear that this project was announced.

Now there is my question:

Will it be possible to add new factions and countries, as well as new theaters later on by modding/expansion? Or will the 'battlefield' be fixed with the arctic?

Because an Asian/Western-Pacific campaign in the corresponding theater would be an awesome addition in the future, considering the real-life tensions in the region between China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, USA and Russia, which would be an ideal setting for exciting scenarios.

Considering that the Chinese PLAN is the fastest growing navy in the world, with an increasing number of modern surface and subsurface combattants, as well as a growing number of modern warplanes, the 'material' is there, for all kinds of naval battles to unfold with China's equally modern equipped neighbors.

A campaign about the PLAN vs. the 7th Fleet involving everything from carriers, subs, planes and maybe even the new DF-21D ASBM, playable on both sides, would be a dream come true.

Hongjian,

Extending the map is not something we expect will be feasible for a modder, no.

Asia Pacific is definitely part of our expansion plans for the future! So, as xmasbeer says, help us make NWAC a success, and you'll be able to play all over the world in later versions.

Yeap!! be sure about my purchase aswell. What would be interesting is to make new playable AREAS or SCENERIES expanding the first release, this is what you are talking about right? Not make a second version with only the Pacific I guess.

Oh Oh Oh......this would be Super! I have a sugestion to help that to be reality.Even if the first release is a success or not, lets create a community account to DONATE in order to make a good quantity to follow NW development.Yeah,definitely.....I want the whole Globe!!!!

Regards from Mallorca.

I will be getting this as well, you can count me in with buying this when it comes out. You devs show me there will be very good times ahead with this game. Does anybody know the author of a book called Choke Point, which had some pretty fantastic present day naval warfare that this game is all about? He wrote some other books also all about present day naval battles and was very interesting reading.
