Hi everyone.
As a longtime naval-sim enthusiast I was very happy to hear that this project was announced.
Now there is my question:
Will it be possible to add new factions and countries, as well as new theaters later on by modding/expansion? Or will the 'battlefield' be fixed with the arctic?
Because an Asian/Western-Pacific campaign in the corresponding theater would be an awesome addition in the future, considering the real-life tensions in the region between China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, USA and Russia, which would be an ideal setting for exciting scenarios.
Considering that the Chinese PLAN is the fastest growing navy in the world, with an increasing number of modern surface and subsurface combattants, as well as a growing number of modern warplanes, the 'material' is there, for all kinds of naval battles to unfold with China's equally modern equipped neighbors.
A campaign about the PLAN vs. the 7th Fleet involving everything from carriers, subs, planes and maybe even the new DF-21D ASBM, playable on both sides, would be a dream come true.
