III: The Road From Persia to Afghanistan
Upon moving the troops towards the last Persian strategic areas, the high command noticed a sign of the huge strength of our western neighbor:
However, it did not affect the plans. The armies of Persia were scattered and disorganized and were quickly destroyed by the Red Army.
...and on the 26th of February 1941, they were annexed.
The newly integrated area would need to be reconstructed; therefore, the government ordered minor infrastructural improvements over that area (OOC: Most of my IC is still dedicated for upgrades).
In Mid-March the government of Afganistan got a serious note from the Soviet Union. A war had been declared - and the USSR would accept no other peace than full annexation.
