During the war I seized all provinces of my enemy duke, but having not any claim on them I was not able to take any of them for ownership.
He had no heir, this way I was curious if killing him would help... I sent a assasin, he succeded and...
No any rebellion, I didn't also become a new ruler, but absolutely unknown new guy replaced old duke and... all my achievements were lost. All provinces returned to new duke with no any fight :( My war score turned from +150 to -45.

A bug?

Sounds like WAD to me.

Why should you magically get land with no claim when the former owner died?

OK about the land, but why a hell I lost all my war achievments?

That one is annoying. It is currently on the list of things to try to change for the 1.05 version, but I gather that it has to do with the way the data is maintained during the game. Hopefully you won't have to put up with that for too much longer.

Yeah it is strange. If a ruler has no heir the next ruler is absolutely unknown. But i realized that he has the same surname as the former ruler as he would be former ruler's lost heir :) Unknown son?? Unknown brother??

They are known as "country cousins"... More like second cousin once removed, I'd say :p

Probably some useless courtier in the court of The Shetlands... This is annoying but at least things are better than when your sieges would reset... :)
