I have successfully imported a simple model into my Cities Skylines Asset editor and it is showing up in game and in Asset editor but now i am trying a more difficult building. Actually make that two and when i try to load them in the model importer all i get is loading and then the default model shows. I have the fbx and _d.png files in Addon Imports in the Cities Skylines folder. I have watched days worth of Blender and AutoCad videos and read many tutorials and still the problem remains. Could someone please help? Tried using AutoCad but apparently not my cup of tea. I need a really detailed step by step text tutorial that i can follow for Blender. If someone could help i would credit them in my asset posts on Steam Workshop so that others that may have problems would know who to contact.

I've run into that in Blender. Make sure your model is one object. If you made it using separate objects, use Join on them first. Unselect everything and right-click on just the object. If you accidentally select some lightsources or the camera it won't load in the asset editor. If you've successfully exported then you'll be familiar with the FBX settings.

Good luck!
