Hi,
I just modeled a new cemetery. I exportet my fbx and only a difuse map and then tried to import it in the asset editor. But something seems to be wrong.
I choose "new asset" and use the cemetery as template ("load existing props" NOT selected), then in the next windows I choose my exported fbx. What I get now, is my fbx together with the default cemetery (the church and the gravestones - the wall is missing).
On a second glance, in the window where I can select between the default model and my own, if I select the default one, I only see the wall of the default model in the preview window but no church and gravestones.

If I choose any other building as template (e.g. the hospital) and use it with my model, everything works as expected. It seems that there is something wrong with the cemetery.

As I've put a lot of work in the model, this is a bit frustrating... :(

There are many 3DsMax, Maya, Blender users here.
then, I think that there is little one that I can advise in MODO.

Do you actually read what people are writing? Or is it that you are just looking for every opportunity to blather?!
Again: I think it is something with the asset editor not the fbx. If you think it may be connected to the fbx export please tell me what you think. fbx is very universal and works pretty much the same in all of this programms.

I think it's something to do with the cemetery itself. Remember reading something about that at some point. You could try messaging the ppl that have made custom cemeteries or download one and use that as the template building.

Hmm OK, I'll see to ask someone. Good idea. In the meantime I used the crematory as template which seems to work like one would expect.
Thank you!
