Intervention:
Steiner(Restoration) - Lyran Commonwealth(or more accurately, the Lyran Free Traders Association) would be interested in commercial opportunities and exploring the economic opportunities of new markets.
Kurita(Directorate) - The Draconis Combine would be interested in giving the Taurians another ally that would force Davion to divert more forces Rimward.
Marik(Directorate) - The FWL would have discovered that the Magistracy is baking the Restoration. Even if they did not, it would be clear that Director Santiago is more conciliatory towards the Taurians than the Arano High Lords. Anything that makes the Magistracy weaker makes Marik stronger in its periphery "neighborhood".
Davion(Restoration) - Peace along the Taurian-Aurigan border is not good for the Federate Suns, as the Aurigans may be the only thing that has checked the ability of the Taurians to launch raids into Davion space.
Liao(Directorate) - While the Capellan Confederation would regard the Aurigans a "rabble" who "stole" worlds like Mechdur, they may have decided that it is preferable to deal with those who have only taken a few of their worlds, as opposed to those who have taken many "ancestral" worlds.
Calderon(Directorate) - Calling the Director Santiago and his government "Taurian Sockpuppets" might be inaccurate, but their stance towards the Taurian Concordat will allow the Taurian Concordat to deal with the Davion threat.
Centrella(Restoration) - If Director Santiago is not going to aggressively test the Taurian border, then his expansion must be towards the Magistracy to conquer the weak independent systems that dot the Rimward Frontier. Even a partial expansion would threaten the Magistracy and put breadbasket worlds like New Abilene under even greater threat(and even open up the potential for conquest).
Houses:
Thanks to the character bios, it looks like Santiago Espinoza has centralized power in the wake of High Lord Arano's murder. House Espinoza has swept aside the other Houses to forge the DIrectorate. Lady Arano's tactical advisor is the youngest son of House Madiera(his homeworld of Guldra is obviously the House Madiera homeworld).
Directorate:
House Santiago(Coromodir)
Restoration:
House Arano(Coromodir)
Unknown:
House Madiera - Guldra
House ????? - ?????
My suspicion is that House Madiera and House ???? are divided on who to support.
The Restoration:
We know that Lady Arano has spent nearly 3 years organizing resistance while Director Espinoza is organizing the Directorate(reorganizing it out of the old Aurigan Government).
We will play as mercs contracted to as a black ops unit for The Restoration(when we are not doing other contracts).
