Hello,
I am currently playing the Philippines in a HOI2-DD-A game and I have run into a problem.

I built 4 naval brigades: 2 Radar, and 2 Anti-Air. They were completed before I had any ships in my navy. Then I started a run of DD's and when the first one was finished attempted to attach one of the Radar brigades.

If I go to the DD in question the "attach brigades" button is greyed out.
If I go to the Brigade and click on it the list of possible attachments in empty. Also the little picture usually visable in a brigade attachment is missing.

I have looked into the save game files and the 4 brigades are present and the data all looks fine given my extremely limited knowledge of what should be there.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Naval brigades get stuck if you do a save/reload when they're are in the pool. It's a known problem and hopefully gets fixed in the next patch. Currently it's better to make sure you have them all deployed (=attached) before saving. Those already in the pool are useless now, unless you edit the savegame, but I personally don't think it's worth the effort.....

Fortunately the problem doesn't happen to land brigades IIRC.

When you are talking about 4 naval brigades and the Philippines then yes it is worth it. 2 IC x 546 days is a lot for a country with a total of 12 IC.

Thank you for clarifying the situation though. I will need to manually edit the files as the new DDs come out it seems.

This is a known bug in Armageddon, and we all hope that it will be fixed in the upcoming v1.2 patch... which is next on Paradox's published list of Patch priorities.
