I got direct help from him in a private conversation for my very first WC back in 1.17 with Italy.
5 years ago that was. Every single one of his AAR is amazing.
For a single person he did alot for this game.

2018ish I had a lot of free time so I found myself playing eu4 while watching streams. I wasn't a fan of larger streams, so naturally I gravitated to atwix's channel. He was always very informative and willing to answer any questions I had. Because of the time zone difference he'd always stream in the early morning for me. It became natural to join his stream as I was getting my day started. Life happens and I wasn't able to keep up, so this news is completely out of the blue for me. It's rough losing someone who, even if they didn't know it, became part of your daily routine.

Where did you spot it?
not sure where they did, but I saw it in TheSocialStreamers early access twitch stream of the new DLC today.

This is a shock. When I did play seriously I went through his AARs like they were the Bible or the Koran, picking up many amazing tips and techniques. RIP to a wonderful community contributor.

Effing Hell! Atwix was , and still still is, the only channel I follow on twitch. Didn't really matter what games he played, be it eu4 or something else. As long as he did, I would watch. And speaking of something else. I have rather fond memories of him playing Dragon Age Origins. Also his new year stream from last year. Been fun to watch and chat with him. And I also remember, that despite his health condition, he had kept his positive attitude. Not gonna lie, gonna miss Him something fierce. Condolences to his family and the people who knew him better than I did. He is gone, but most certainly NOT forgotten. May you rest in peace and have an unlimited supply of Trappist beer in the afterlife.
