Hiya all,

Been busy with work recently, but was curious to see if any of the old group was still around and interested in a casual HOI2DD game anytime. I had high expectations of EU3, but the dynamic non-historical flavour isn't my cup of tea, and I thought about trying a shorter DD game if there was any interest. I was thinking of something fairly casual, rather than the fixed night games we used to play. If any of the old team are interested, let me know. Be good to play again. :)

Im about to loose out as Russia in our Monday Game and Allies are loosing frivilous amounts ships, Shouldnt take to long for Axis to tighten the noose. :)
 
I was thinking of playing some shorter games, maybe even battle scenarios.

It's harder for me of late to commit to given nights for long term, consistent games. Perhaps a smaller group as well to offset the need for a larger group of people being available at any given time. So if any of you are interested in either a scenario (and I have no idea how balanced these are for MP gameplay) or maybe a 2 v 2 Game (UK/USSR v GER/ITA) or even something different like JAP v CHI just to get some decent fighting in early, let me know. :)

japan has lost twice as many ships as me, and I just raped up his airforce. You must be sturdy comrades. Russia will hold, you shall not pass!
 
Hey guys im still around and keep and eye on these forums. Been on holidays for 6 weeks and just started work again.

Although i cant commit to any games at the moment, if a casual game starts up with no fixed nights, we just play when were free like 1 night perhaps 2 per week. I would be interested. Maybe i could co-op with some one so if im not here it wont matter. Any way good luck with your game, i miss my hoi but i need to work and make $$$ so that i wont have to work when im 45, and i want a flash car, big massive house, pool and maybe high priced women thats right Joel not men like you pay for.

Hi guys i am looking for some aussies to play some multiplayer with, although i don't have the dd expansion yet, is there anywhere in oz you can get it?

also not sure how my system will cope with multiplayer as its a bit old and sad plays single player fine tho and i have got broadband.

My work hours are pretty sporadic but i usually get a weeks notice on when i am working. Would be good if i could organize a game of hoi2 vanilla to see how my system goes with multi player.
 
if it plays well in single player........it will play much better in multiplayer....as your computer will have much less to do

You need the DD expansion, i doubt anyone will go back to play 1.3a (HOI2) any time ever.
