Australian playthrough Issues

I know this will be longer than most but over time Ive collected a list of some of the existing issues with the Australian Tree.

1)
No Aircraft MIO
MIO Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation becomes unavailable if you become free.
with no default MIO available to replace it.

2)
No Formable Nations as Australia -
Australia does not have available decision
No Oceania , Not in Polynesia, Nothing to Unite PNG and Solomons Isle as core.
The Demand New Zealand Focus has its AI Chance bugged that the base chance is 0 and the third AI chance condition is strength_ratio >2 which gives factor = 5 which doesn't work, as 5 x 0 = 0 % chance for NZ to accept.

No options to Unite Malaysia and Indonesia Even if they are puppets - the existing formable nation form_majapahit_empire by MAL & INS
the below code fixes this option to be available to Australia if both MAL & INS are subjects.

3)
No interaction options to return Kaiserwillhemsland (northern Papua New Guinea) to Germany for payment or relations, instead your states can be stolen from you at any time regardless of your Independent/at war with GER/ENG or not even in either alliance.

4)
Australia's Starting Gun stockpile- Australia did not have a multi-thousand gun deficit in 1936 The Lithgow arms factory (the MIO name) had been in production since 1912. there was a surplus.

5)
Australia's starting tech in history file needs needs to be adjusted:-

1918 support weapons- Australia was a participant in ww2 they manufactured support weapons at the Lithgow arms factory since 1912.

Ford F30 Australia- From 31 March 1925, Fords Australian headquarters were at Geelong, Victoria. in 1932 V8 were produced and In 1934, the company released a coupé utility based on the US Model A Ford "Closed Cab Pickup Truck" that had been produced for six years from 1928.
Australia had domestic automobile manufacturers as well from 1919.

Radio - Australia had commercial radio stations since 1924

Armoured cars was already in production in 1936 , newspaper article https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/194274088

1934 light tank- already in production in 1936 , newspaper article https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/194274088

Basic light battery - in 1936 4-inch (100 mm) were in service on cruisers like HMAS Australia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMAS_Australia_(D84)
Armament
At launch:
8 × 8-inch (203 mm) guns (4 twin turrets)
4 × 4-inch (102 mm) anti-aircraft guns
4 × 2-pounder (40 mm) pom-poms
16 × .303-inch machine guns
2 × quadruple 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tube sets
4 × 3-pounder (47 mm) saluting guns

basic medium battery - in 1936 4-inch (100 mm) were in service on cruisers like HMAS Australia
8 × 8-inch (203 mm) guns (4 twin turrets)
In the game Australia has the ability to build these already on its 1936 cruisers but the tech isnt researched. tech needs to be added from start.

Advanced ship torpedoes 1940 tech - listed as "enables 3x533mm torpedo launcher"
At launch in 1927 HMAS Australia was already fitted with 2 × quadruple 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tube sets, Australia had this technology in use for years.

6)
Australia has no tanks in its starting stockpile - needs 14 added with decision to purchase from USA and ENG
With the Australian Army only possessing a total of fourteen tanks – 10 Mark VIs and four Mark IIs[21] – orders for modern types were quickly placed in Britain and the United States.

7)
Incorrect Technology for the country and year The SMLE-CAR was a New Zealand weapon designed in 1941 , Australia did not use carbine type (CAR) guns , this was used by NZ , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlton_automatic_rifle
The Australian Electrolux SMLE was not a carbine weapon (-CAR) it was a conversion of a bolt-action Lee-Enfield rifle into a fully automatic. it did not feature pistol grips and looks nothing like the weapon icon that uses the NZ version.
picture and info in link.

8)
Australia's starting military industry needs to be slightly bigger than 4.
Australia From 1937 the Lithgow Factory had been making around 30,000 SMLE rifles per year. At the outbreak of war in 1939 the demand rose to 100,000 per year.

9)
Theorists -
Of the 2 theorists neither gives a useful buff, instead only 2x doctrine cost reduction 10%.
add more theorists.

10)
Australian Political advisors -
The only 2 useful advisors are Jack Beasley and frank Forde, the rest of the advisors are not worth the cost/benefit ratio and have buffs to rarely used mechanics that have little impact with the exception of Herbert V Evatt which is gated to democratic focus "supporting policy of appeasement" whilst doing this may make sense historically it also leaves communist and fascist without a useful third advisor.

Edit Herbert V Evatt not to only be available to all government types not just one of the two democratic tree.
Add an advisor with Prince of Terror trait (2% on core manpower)
Add an advisor which increases autonomy gain.
Add an advisor which increases civilian factory production

Problematic advisors
Ben Chifley
cost 100pp
Trait: Smooth talking charmer , 5% pp gain ,Improve relations cost -50% , trade deal opinion +10%

For the PP gain at 1pp per day it takes 5.5 years to get your 100 pp back
100pp cost /0.05 extra daily gain = 2000 days =5.5 years
Not worth the cost when you need early game PP, and last two stats are useless.

Robert G Menzies
cost: 150
Trait: Backroom Backstabber
Subversive activities cost -25%
justify war goal time -10%
Ideology drift defence -25%
Not very useable stats for Australia which currently has minimal/no spy focuses.

11)
No starting spy agency- needs one added
In 1919, the Commonwealth Police Force and the Special Intelligence Bureau merged to form the Investigation Branch. The Investigation Branch was responsible for security intelligence until after the second world war.
additionally no ability to expand spy slots for most alignments
Australia's primary "spy agencies" were the Central Bureau and the Fleet Radio Unit, Melbourne (FRUMEL) formed in 1942

12)
Rats of Tobruk - nice idea but the conditions are too convoluted to get and 70 days for one unit is not worth it by any means.

13)
Increase Autonomy continuous focus is gated behind the 10 focus limit this needs to be decreased for Australia as 700 days is too long (10x70 days focus excluding the 2x35 day naval focuses) you are already at max autonomy before this even becomes available.

14)
if Australia was reworked with 35 day focuses it would also drastically improve the experience and make it much more enjoyable than 70 day focuses as you cannot do much for the first two years until you gain independence.

15)
Focus in Chronological wrong order:
in Fascist Tree
Protect the South West Pacific Should come after Support the centre party and before Supply Indonesian Nationalists.

Thanks.
