2. Move hero units back as shown on video
3. Turn on auto combat

Expected resolution: AI moves the remaining units
Experienced resolution: AI crashes, times out and ends turn

Hey P5552, thanks for reaching out. Sadly I wasn't able to load your save due to one of the mods but I reviewed the video provided with our Combat AI Programmer. The behaviour you're seeing is as expected. During Cautious Approach how far the AI moves units forward is determined by the max distance the slowest unit can move. As you move the two Heroes back the allowed distance is reduced. The little hang is the AI processing where each unit can go and then ending turn after running the logic to rotate any required units.
