Hi, i wanted the latest patch so i uninstalled and removed my previous version. When I'm trying to reinstall the game by running autorun-install it immediately stops with a popup saying: "An installation support file could not be installed", Acces denied. Anyone know whats wrong or missing? Thanks.

my comp:
2,4Ghz cpu
256 ram
etc.

Hmm. I suspect it would be more useful to know which version of windows you run, how you went about removing it (did you click "uninstall" or did you just remove the directory?) and which version of DirectX you're running, among others.

OK, well my guess would be that you missed one of the registry entries, but I'd wait for someone more knowledgable to turn up.
 
I have read threads and tried the way of copying the cdfiles to harddrive and then replaced the setup.inx file, but nothing has changed, still the popup "An installation support file could not be installed", Acces denied. :(

Problem tracked down thanks to the self-help guide! It was the map 'C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\ who needed to be deleted for installshield to work.

And once again my loyal armies will march upon the soil of the dark EU-world. :). Thanks for bothering mates!
