So lets say you start a game with 1k civilians and most buildings and districts consume 200 civilians each. So actually you have 5 pops to move to 5 buildings and after that you are done and gotta wait for the growth. (Game hardly explains it you gotta figure it out yourself)

But main screen doesnt even show you how much civilians do you have unless you hover over it, and you gotta know where to hover and that out of all types of citizens only one important are civilians.

Shouldn't this be visible to a player right away?

This whole new interface for managing the planet is a complete failure. It shows a bunch of completely useless information and hides the really important one. Inconvenient and even harmful.

In essence, this new interface performs the function of "preventing the player from figuring it out".

I agree, not having the info that civilians are ready for the mines from the outliner is really not a good choice. Who cares about 69 unemployed pops when there 2000 civilians waiting for new jobs.

It gives tons of information, just not valuable information. And hides what you should see. Maybe it'll be "good" and an "improvement" one day as some people keep claiming. But as of now it's the worst Ui we had.
