Mexico has again the bug where it gets generic portraits for its Christian democrat and fascist leaders, has this been fixed?
 
was the issue with empty tank chassises rolling around fixed? specifically, Italy missing inter-war tank designs when exporting them to Bulgaria and Turkey, and not designing an improved light chassis design for the baltic's focus.

Now that germany tends to go Kaiser in most non-historical games, it make's the axis branch of the Baltic focus tree almost useless because the tank focu does not work. Italy does not send you any tanks because they lack the design, and the license production for tanks you apparently gain never happens. (tested this multiple times.)

And turkey's focus to purchase italian light tanks also goes amiss a lot when Italy decides to only sell inter-war tanks, but they dont have the design for one! similar effects for Bulgaria's focuses.

EDIT: just loaded up the game. italy does have the inter-war tank chassis with a design! (the fiat 3000!) so it looks like most of the isssues will be fixed.

Added support for selecting variant with version_name in effect create_production_license.
You would not believe how happy this minor change makes me.
All I could ask for now would be to be able to use variables for upgrade values and be able to change equipment cost multiplicatively, instead of forcing it to be additive. Still, I guess that's too niche actually to be included.

By the way, is southern Albania still part of North America?

Uh anyone can clarify what does that mean? I assume this affects the amount of naval supremacy one gets? Does this mean spamming cheap subs is not an option anymore?

Removed the define PORT_STRIKE_ENEMY_SUPERIORITY_LIMIT which was set to above 100% in the base game which in effect disabled the limit. Removed the accompanying modifier enemy_port_superiority_limit
How does this work? Tooltip about port strike with superiority below 70% never worked? And that will be same now? Or it is something different?
 
An earlier dev diary (I think) mentioned that the AI will now be more inclined to build armored units. I can't see that here, did it make it to this release?

In my opinion the Pope should be called Pius XI. and Pius XII. not Pio.

Pio is merely the Italian version of the name, but Pius is the official Latin version, which was used during their proclamation, when signing documents etc. Also Pius is the internationally far more common version of the name, making it really the one that should be used and under which these Popes are more widely known.

My mod also splits Siam into 3. Perhaps it would be Siam -> Klang (Center), Phak Nua (North), and Isan (East) like in my mod here right? I'm going to download 1.12 half a day from now because lack of internet so until then i'm on the dark. Also i hope Rattanakosin formable would be properly updated with the new states too.

Agree, Papal state or not, Holy See uses Latin as their official language.

Also, the Air Force should be able to deploy as it has in the past.
Every 10/100 aircraft is not a historical deployment.
I am also not convinced that the number of carrier-borne aircraft can only be changed by 10 aircraft each.
This puts pressure on the sufficiency of countries that initially set up their aircraft in a manner that is not every hundred aircraft.

Playing as GER - the bombers are not displaying a ground attack value, and if you add more bombs nothing changes (agailty doesn't change either).

Also, from a start on the original version i upgraded a fighter and the naval bomber and CAS could use the old fighter model to upgrade from.

How do the commands for the BoP work? Do i use "bop_set" for changing the BoP in my desired direction? Because whenever i do so, it says something along the line of "bop not active".

And what numbers do i have do use? When i clicked on "bop_show" it said for example -0.6 when i was 60% to the left. So i asume i have to use -1 to 1, from left to right as the id in the command, right?

use bop_add <ID of the BOP> value (negative or positive). Ids are in common/bop (ITA_power_balance, SWI_centralization_bop and ETH_centralization_balance for short)

A few smaller issues I've run into:

  • Creating a new air group automatically creates a new air theater. I think new air groups should be added to an existing theater if they're created from an existing theater. (Obviously this doesn't apply to air groups created from the "Ungrouped Air Wings" space.)
  • It seems you can only change air wing replacement priority by theater, not by air group or air wing. I'd like to at least adjust replacement priority by air group and ideally by air wing.
  • It's not obvious that the adjuster icons in the air designer can be clicked to toggle them. (I only know because C0RAX pointed it out in this thread.) Maybe add a check box or something that indicates they can be clicked. Even having one always selected by default (and thus glowing) would probably be enough to let players know they can be clicked.
  • Air base intel is displayed very confusingly:
    • The green outlines around your airbases are hard to see, which makes your bases almost indistinguishable from bases outside your faction
    • Airbases controlled by other countries in your faction are displayed as white airplanes without circular outlines, which makes them appear less important and less well understood than completely foreign airbases. Please change this to a more intuitive visual gradient - the less visually prominent a base is, the less you should know about it.
  • Air wing names are displayed in roughly half the space that exists in each wing's UI. I imagine extending whatever text display box they're in would allow most wings to display their full names.
  • The German icons for the 4. Armee, 16. Armee and 1. Panzerarmee still have naval icons superimposed over them. I'll make a bug report, but it also appears to be a very easy issue to fix.
  • Some division commanders share names with full generals. In the 1936 start, for example, Maximilian von Weichs is both a German general and the commander of the 1. Panzer-Division. I don't know how many more instances like this there are, but it seems straightforward enough to apply a filter to the division commander names before an upcoming hotfix.
  • The Heavy MG air tech is a 1938 tech displayed in the 1936 row of the air tech screen. (I'll make a bug report for this, too.)

So im not sure this is a bug, but when i lost some territories as Italy, Germany reconquered my territories from our enemies (while not in a faction), however they refused to give me back after i joined their faction, is this working as intended? I also couldn't ask for the control of those states, but this was different in NSB.
