I was playing a game where the Aztecs invaded Westeros, and managed to take control of king's landing. They now control whether or not the holy order for the faith exists, and it is the Aztec emperor that the Septons of Westeros send their taxes to if they don't like their liege. I don't know how this happened, but it doesn't sound right.

You shouldn't have aztec invasion enabled while playing GoT for this exact reason.

To be honest, I was taken by complete surprise when it triggered. I almost never play games long enough for the event to trigger in the base game, and it happening in this mod was not something I thought could happen.

What about other foreign invasions?

I don't know a lot about the lore of the series ( watching the TV series and just started reading the books ), but would a good Aztec/Horde invasion replacement for this mod be the Others/White Walkers? It feels like that is what the series is heading towards.

It's a while since they made the mod compatible with Sunset invasion, so some of the new things might not work well with this mods aztecs.

We're not going to replace the Aztec invasion. We find it entertaining. If you don't want the Aztec invasion, turn Sunset Invasion off.

We will probably implement a Long Night event at some point or another, but at the moment we're playing it safe.
