Background Music (Hope This Is The Right Place To Ask)

Hi, I'm brand new at this game (just bought it, haven't played yet), but I've a question about the background music. I'll be playing version 1.09 and according to the readme file, I can turn off the background music by a "nomusic" commandline argument. OK, where's that, how do I get to it, and what do I do when I'm there? Note I just want to turn off background music, not sound effects, etc. Thanks for help.

The easiest way is this:-

Go to "Start", "Programs" then "Paradox Entertainment.
You will see an option (Using patch 1.09) to play without music. The music files wont be loaded and the game will go faster.

Or you can do it in the game by hitting F10, options, music off.

Unfortunatly it doesnt work with all versions apparently.
