Negatory. This time you actually built your critizism of the community on actual experience rather than wildly inaccurate hypothesizing. My praise was earnest.

I can't speak for Ryoken, of course.

If he had written this about Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein or the brilliant Swedish chancellor Axel Oxenstierna no one would doubt he was serious. Unfortunately I am neither a Nelson, nor an Albert or an Axel; when my name is mentioned the world does not tremble of respect and in obedience of my cerebral capacity ;)

Clever, Daniel, comparing yourself to great people by claiming you cannot be compared to them.

Any teacher of rethorics would tell you not to employ that particular trick because your very claim to innocense marks your arrogance. :p False modesty masking a claim for undeserved greatness is very, very ugly. :D

And the few other people who have posted and said they could not detect any sarcasm or whatever in his post, read this and understand you are wrong, just simply wrong.

How can their inability to spot the sarcasm be wrong?

Again, you make definitive statements about what is essentially unquantifiable. You must be pretty all-knowing indeed to know what someone on the other end of the connection detects in a post you didn't write. Teleconnectionpathy?

But since Ryoken's post and his implicit line of thinking was so easy to argue against (it was "as an open goal" as the Swedish proverb goes) I did not take that much offense when I read his post. In fact, I even laughed a little, because I thought it was quite funny. And even better: it gave me the opportunity to write my patronising response, which was a pure joy ;)

Ah yes. You take joy in being patronizing. Aside from the morally repulsive part, do you get warnings for it? Another case of selective crackdown, I suppose.

I honestly don't see the point in bringing this "Ryoken vs. Daniel A - with Slargos as special referee" match back to life. Let it die already...

Daniel, sometimes even when you're right it's best to keep quiet.

Slargos, isn't it time to move on?

I shall cease when I'm bored. :p
