Hey guys,
Ive (made the possible mistake of -- we will see...) just bought Rome for the second time. I had bought it years ago when it was released but have long since lost that copy.
Anyway, Im now running into a problem I seem to remember oft experiencing in Paradox games. The game completely freezes and locks up the PC. I seem to remember it having to do with a corrupt save but I cant seem to remember how to fix it. I think I used to go so far as editing save game text files from time-to-time to remove bad stuff, but Im not all that keen on going through that tedium again.
Point being...
Can anyone help? Ive tried creating new saves upon reloading, closing, then loading those saves but still after a few months game time the game just locks.
Any suggestions, or is this $10 down the drain because I sure aint gunna start up another gameplay just to have the same thing happen after investing a couple hours in it.
Thanks,
Mike
