Yesterday I reported my Austria Game and the 200 years of wars to end the game. I basically stopped declaring wars around 1650 and let everyone else declare on me and that way I was able to avoid some stability hits. When I went in to check my badboy value, I found a 0! Could this be true? Also, since this was the first time I had check BB, I found numbers like 1, 3, 4... Nothing seriously high. What is the range of the BB?

My first GC (1.07), played with England, ended with a BB of 268. I killed everything that moved.

You get one point of BB drop every four years in 1.08. If you space out your wars, and if you exercise some restraint about who you attack, where you attack, and what you ask for in peace negotiations, you can stay near zero.

In my current game, France is being a butt-head and has a BB of 12. I am not being a butt-head. I think if I were, I'd probably see other countries with higher BB's, as they'd get them as a result of DoW'ing on me.

shock

I think the shock, however, is that we had 200 years of almost constant war, and I didn't see a BB above 4! I'll have to go back and check...I just don't believe it.

If they were declaring war on you, then you don't get any BB increases -- at least not until you take some of their provinces as war booty. ;) I think the highest I've ever had my BB value was between 15-20 as Russia -- must be more of a "make love, not war" hippie than I thought! :)
