Sub mod for people who are having performance issues with the newly added trade routes or anyone who only wants the Silk Road in the game.
Updated Aug. 19th.

Unzip into Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod and check it in the mod launcher ( requires CK2Plus to also be running )

Post any problem reports with this sub mod here.

I believe, people can just delete w/e_trade_route_I_dont_want.txt in their CK2Plus\common\trade_routes folder. So a nice tip for those who want some particular routes.

They can indeed. It's not a good idea to just delete the entire trade_route folder, however, as the vanilla file uses different province id's than we have.

Won't break, mind you, but it'll look mighty weird.

At any rate, Kalista put this here as an easy solution for people who don't want to go in and edit the files themselves (or don't know how). And it's handy for those people who believe that it impacts performance in a big way -- it doesn't, insofar as our testing has shown, but folks are welcome to test out the difference for themselves.

Yes you are correct. I designed them very modular with this express intent, as there's no silver bullet way that would please everyone routes wise. You can add and/or remove any trade route you want in this manner. It will not affect save game compat to add or remove them so feel free to try them around!

Potentially you could also remove the routes you want to keep out of this sub-mod to have an always compatible version (as there is no code changes outside of that folder currently)

As Rylock said though, the only one you should always use is 00_silk_road.txt, since the vanilla one uses a province layout that doesn't mesh well with ours.

so i deleted few of trade routes (timbuktu, atlantic, french, iberian and british) and ive seen a bit of improvemnet in performance and fewer CTD
