One line summary of your issue
Crash during Cutscenes

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Any cutscence IN THE CAMPAIGN that has "Press Esc to Skip", will play the sound for 2 seconds, then instead of loading the sprites, it will just crash. If you skip it in time, it will let you continue. Still, I'm forced to miss all the cutscenes.

Steps to reproduce the issue
Literally start the campaign and DO NOT press "Esc"

I have a similar issue, but following advice on another thread I renamed AVProVideo.dll in the BattleTech_Data\Plugins folder, this kills the cutscenes and the game otherwise works. I suggest you try this and see if it also works for you.

Like I said, I can just skip them within the first 1 sec or so. Problem is, I don't get to see the cutscene, which I want to see. The best "workaround" I found was seeing those scence on a YT play-through vid =|

Having the same issue so glad it's not just my machine, attached is my report dumps. Will do the temp fix for now

Had the same problem, and I managed to fix it by installing K-Lite Codec Pack, and it seemed to fix it, not sure yet, managed to get pasted the two first cut scenes without problems.
