One line summary of your issue
Crash to Desktop involving Access Violations
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
My game crashes to desktop randomly during missions. This includes the tutorial missions. Part of the issue may be caused by page files as setting the page file settings on my machine back to default alleviated the issue, but only by letting me play longer before crashing back to desktop.
2 kinds of access violation errors: one by WS2_32.dll, the other by Battletech.exe.
*EDIT* I have yet to deal with the first set of traitor Royal Guards because I crash so much
Steps to reproduce the issue
Reboot machine to start from fresh.
Start up the game, use all settings at default (audio, graphics, etc).
Start the campaign or start a single player Skirmish.
Once a mission starts and you take control of your Lance, play normally.
After any random length of time, the game will crash to desktop.
If you try to return immediately to the game and repeat without rebooting, you will find that the crash to desktop happens a lot faster.
