I tried my first launch, then tried to create a paradox account within the game. I was then taken to a screen that asked me to choose a callsign, banner, and colors. as the game has barely been out i did not expect the first thing i entered to be taken (it was simply 'Iris') but i assumed it was simply due to it being too short, and instead used "IridescentIris". I pressed the button to continue, and got a loading bar for a moment before the screen went back to it's earlier state. when i pressed the button to continue again, i got a message 'username has been taken'. after a few more tries and a bit of waiting, i Alt+F4'd out of the game, as i couldn't back out of the screen either (would get a "please enter callsign" message even though i already had). I then tried relaunching, instead, after the intro cinematic, found myself at a screen that gave me two options; "skirmish" and "campaign". I clicked "campaign", then i clicked "new", and got to a black screen with a loading bar in the top left corner of the screen, and some informational tidbit right next to it that changed periodically... and it kept loading and loading. for almost half an hour. I Alt+F4'd again and tried again. same thing. again and again.
I also can't create a callsign, same issue everyone else seems to be having where it says every name is taken despite the game only being out for a few hours, and then you can't back out. had to Alt+F4 there too.

Restarted multiple times, attempted to create a callsign on first start up, tried to start campaign every subsequent start up.
