It's frustrating how there are so many large global scenarios that are unplayable and never get finished, while, for whatever reason, few seem interested in making small, manageable battle scenarios, which can be just as satisfying (especially if they're complete).

I can think of several awesome battle scenarios that would be far preferable to another large mod that never gets finished:

-- Operation Market Garden

-- Operation Sea Lion (Hitler decides not to invade Soviet Union and dedicates to an invasion of the UK.)

-- Race to Berlin (May 1945. Eisenhower doesn't give Soviets the go-ahead for the German capital. US vs USSR: first to capture Berlin wins.)

-- The Rock, or Operation Felix (Spain joins the Axis and Hitler sends troops through the country to assist in the capture of Gibraltar.)

-- Operation Rhino (1956. Germany invades US coast around Dover/Hartford, target Washington D.C. (I know I'm getting into alternative history here, but something needs to be set on the American east coast! We rarely see complex battles outside Europe or East Asia.))

-- Japanese invasion of Australia

I'll produce Sea Lion myself if someone teaches me how to develop this kind of scenario!
