Any idea how to make battles looks interesting?
Auto battles of course should remain but maybe make it interesting to spectate them? Maybe make big battlefield where you can see how cavalry flank someone, archers shot at someone and infantry running around and attack enemy units instead of just two sides change their numbers boringly?
There is videogames where you cant controls units but its still fun to spectate auto battle like autochess genre (auto chess, underlords, teamfight tactics), dominions series, legion etc
